Paris Saint-Germain are coming in red hot form in today’s return leg for UEFA Champions League Round of 16 against six times competition winners Bayern Munich. The round’s tie is standing at 1-0 in favor of Bayern Munich as they await PSG at home.

PSG hadn’t lost any match since their 0-1 loss to Bayern Munich in first leg. These wins have come against Lile, Marseille and Nantes. They have scored 11 goals since then and conceded only 5 goals. Both star players Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi (FIFA Men’s Best Player 2022) looking in red hot form scoring and assisting majority of these goals in last few outings for PSG.

Bayern Munich on the other lost very recently to league rivals Mönchengladbach 3-2 in an away match. They have won 2 out 3 matches since they last met PSG in first leg. They have scored only 7 goals and conceded 4 in these matches. Benjamin Pavard won’t be available for this fixture as he received a red card in last minutes of first leg. Josip Stanišić is expected to start at right wing today for Bayern.

Although it’s going to be really difficult to snatch a result at Allianz Arena tonight but with PSG’s current form and both strikers Mbappe and Messi teaming up really well, it doesn’t look impossible at all. Both Parisian stars would be in high spirits for a comeback tonight owing to their recent form and exploits.

Mbappe just recently crossed past 201 club goals for PSG, making him the top club scorer ahead of Edinson Cavani. Lionel Messi has a chance to score his 800th career goal tonight if he gets to score tonight. He currently is the second top scorer in the competition with 129 goals in 142 appearances. He only has Cristiano Ronaldo to beat for most goals scored in Champions League. Ronaldo has scored 140 goals in 140 appearances. Source
